1. Information We Collect

IDEAS TIME LIMITED (iDeasTime), Hong Kong, collects information you provide through our contact, enquiry and quotation forms, email, WhatsApp, and communications about our services. This may include your name, contact details, website address and the information you choose to include in your enquiry.

Our website also uses operational logs and analytics to understand visits and maintain the service. These may include page visits, browser and device information, IP address information, referral details and pseudonymous visit identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, and communicate with you.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or Meta platform data. Authorised team members and service providers may process data when needed to provide our services, hosting, communications, analytics and security. Our providers include Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for service email, Google Analytics for website analytics, and Supabase for our internal social-management data. We may disclose information where required by a valid legal obligation.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Threads API and Social-Management Data

Our iDeasTime Threads tool is an internal pilot used by our own team to manage our business account, @ideastimehk. It has no public sign-up. With the account holder’s authorisation, the Threads API provides account identifiers and profile information, the account’s posts, and account or post performance metrics such as views, likes, replies, reposts and aggregated audience-country statistics. Access tokens are stored privately on the server side.

Keyword searches can provide public post identifiers, author usernames, text, permalinks and timestamps. We use these records to review relevant conversations about websites in Hong Kong, avoid showing the same post repeatedly, and let an operator decide whether to publish a public reply. We also keep reply text, published identifiers and operational receipts to avoid duplicate publishing. These records are not used for resale, direct messages or off-platform contact based on search results.

The current pilot is limited to searching and replying to our own account’s posts under Standard Access. Public-conversation search requires Meta’s approval for Advanced Access. The tool requires explicit review and confirmation before sending a reply; it does not automatically send replies from its search results.

Our Supabase project is hosted in Sydney, Australia. Supabase Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is the primary data processor, and Supabase, Inc. in the United States provides support and operational services. Supabase’s distributed support and other infrastructure providers may process or access data internationally as described in their service and data-processing terms. Hosting in Australia does not mean all processing is confined to Australia.

6. Retention and Data Deletion

We retain information for the disclosed service, account-management, analytics, security and duplicate-prevention purposes, and for applicable record-keeping obligations. Expiry of a search session or revocation of account authorisation does not automatically delete previously stored records.

To request access, correction or deletion of information held by iDeasTime, email cklam@ideastime.ltd with the subject “Data deletion request”. For Threads records, include the relevant username or post permalink so that we can locate the information. Do not send passwords or access tokens. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that you are authorised to make the request.

Following a verified request, we remove the applicable records from our active systems and remove stored account credentials where relevant, except where retention is required for a valid legal obligation. Deletion from provider backups follows the provider’s backup and deletion schedules. You can also revoke the tool’s access through your Threads account settings; contact us separately if you want previously stored copies deleted.
